Spring has arrived in Monmouth — and so have we.

After a winter of planning, prepping, and nurturing seeds into strong, healthy starts, we're thrilled to announce that the Mosquito Hawk Farms farmstand is officially open for the 2026 season! This is our first weekend back, and we could not be more excited to reconnect with our community.

We're open through 8pm this evening at our usual spot on 910 Main Street East in Monmouth.

🍅 Tomato Transplants

We've got a great selection of tomato transplants ready to go home with you. These starts have been carefully grown, ready to move, and built to thrive in your garden. Whether you're a first-time gardener or a seasoned row-tender, now is the perfect time to pick up your tomatoes (getting close to planting!).

🌿 Houseplants

Looking to bring a little green indoors? We have a selection of houseplants to keep you company through the season. Great for yourself, or as a gift for a friend.

🍪 Cookies from Krislynn's Cakelicious Desserts — Tomorrow Only!

Here's some very exciting news: tomorrow we'll have cookies from Krislynn's Cakelicious Desserts at the stand! We're big fans of her baking, and we think you will be too. Stop by as soon as you can — these won't last long.

More Good Things on the Way

We're just getting started. As the season picks up, we'll be adding more transplants, fresh produce, seasonal flowers, and more to help your garden hit its stride. Follow along here on the blog and on our socials so you don't miss new arrivals.

As always, everything we grow is raised using organic practices — no synthetic fertilizers, no synthetic pesticides. Just compost, rotation, and a lot of hard work from people who love this land.

How We Got Here: Three Years of Growing the Stand

It's easy to show up at a farmstand and not think much about how it came to be. But for us, this little corner of Main Street has been a journey — and we're proud of how far it's come.

2024 was where it all started. We set up a humble 10x10 tent, stocked it with what we had, and hoped our neighbors would find us. They did. The support from Monmouth in that first season meant everything, and it gave us the encouragement to think bigger.

2025 brought a larger tent and more room to grow — literally. We expanded our offerings, added more variety, and started to find our rhythm as a farmstand. The community kept showing up, and so did we.

2026 is the year it all comes together. We've made the leap to a permanent build — a real, rooted home for the stand. No more tents, no more takedowns. Just a dedicated space where you can count on finding us, day after day, season after season.

We're so grateful for every person who stopped by in those early days and stuck with us through the growth. This stand exists because of you. We are so excited to continue to grow in our community — your support means so much to us!

The farmstand is open daily during daylight hours, typically 8am–8pm, right here at 910 Main Street East. Stock changes throughout the day as we harvest, so whether you come early or wander in after work, there's always something fresh to discover.

We grow for this community — for neighbors, families, and anyone who wants food and plants that come from somewhere real. We're glad you're here for another season.
