This farm is grown by people….. and dogs
The People
Connie
Connie believes farming is equal parts science and stubborn optimism. She grows using organic practices because soil health matters long-term, not just for one season. You will likely find her harvesting tomatoes, rearranging bouquets, or talking to farm stand guests longer than necessary.
Zak
Zak keeps systems running, irrigation flowing, and projects moving. If something needs building, fixing, or figuring out, he’s already halfway through it. He is the master of all construction design. You will likely find him running the tractor, climbing a tree or working on the next garden bed.
Michelle
Michelle keeps the stand stocked, organized, and welcoming. She ensures what comes out of the field makes it smoothly to Main Street and that the doors are always open. You will likely find her harvesting the sunflowers and sifting through seed catalogs always planning for what can we plant next.
The Dogs
Max
Head of Security & Squirrel Affairs. Max patrols the fence lines with intensity, responding swiftly to any suspicious rustle or unauthorized squirrel activity.Pepper
Plant Observation Specialist.
Prefers shade. Watches everything. Offers quiet judgment. Ensures birds are not eating any of our favorite insects and herds the rest of the workers around daily.Whiskey
Specializes in foraging select grasses and conducting extended field research in sunny locations. Believes rest is part of the agricultural process. Will usually find her sunbathing after being herded around by Pepper.Riley
Customer favorite. Tail operates at high speed. Ensures everyone feels welcome. This guy loves to harvest raspberries and ensure everyone is safe. Be careful and don't let him trick you into another green bean - he will eat them all day long!Rocky
If Connie moves, Rocky moves. Field inspections, harvest days, stand setup. Loyal, steady, always two steps behind and fully committed. Rocky is usually with a human rather than the rest of the herd, if you see him at the farm stand he loves a back scratch.
